It's better to do B.Tech in environmental engineering from public college only as it provides better scopes of jobs compared to private colleges and the fees is also less. This happens for this course as environmental engineering is taught in very few colleges.

Part time/p. G course in environment engineering/Science or sustainability is available in IIM Kozhikode, AIET AICE Angul and Oxford Brookes University and Khalifa University are best colleges. I India admission through qualifying exam is GATE and fees structure ranges from 7000 to 20000 in government colleges and 30000 to 80000 in private colleges.

IIT Roorkee will be better as IIT Roorkee is a very good college with great placement offers. IIT Dhanbad in contrast has not much good placements than IIT Roorkee.
