In IITs, admissions are done only through JEE Advanced
JEE Mains exam is considered for admission into NITs and IIITs.

GATE is required for higher studies like Masters in engineering (M.Tech). For B.Tech in NITs or IIITs, you must get a good rank in JEE Mains and Advanced or you require JEE Mains and Advanced for B.Tech in NITs and IIITs.

In the local category, OC has 50% reservation of seats. For more information, please visit www.audoa.in and download the seat allotment order.

No, you are not eligible to get ECE branch, you may get other lower branches.
