Alright, with a JEE Mains rank around 1.7 Lacs in the general category, NITs or top IIITs might not be realistic unless it's a super low-demand branch + home state quota. But don't stress, you still have good options. Think state government engineering colleges, Sant Longowal Institute, or Dr. B R Ambedkar NIT Jalandhar (for lesser-popular branches). Explore state-level counselling too, some states have solid gov colleges with more seats and slightly relaxed cutoffs.

To be eligible for B.Tech Fire and Environmental Health Safety at GSFC University, you generally need to have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (or Biology/Biotechnology) with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/SEBC). Admission is based on your JEE Main score (or GUJCET score). With a JEE Main CRL of 92000, you have a good chance of getting in, as some sources suggest the cutoff for this programme can be around the 38344 rank for the first round.

When filling out the GATE application form 2026, the GOAPS portal requires certain documents of the candidates for the verification process. Based on the details, the concernced IIT will issue the GATE admit card, scorecard, and college/course allotment during the counselling. Therefore, it is very important for the candidates to provide the correct and updated information. Yes, any candidate who meets the GATE 2026 eligibility will be able to appear for the exam. The criteria include the following -
- Any undergraduate student in 3rd year or higher years of any government approved programme in any of the following disciplines, such as engineering/technology/architecture/science/commerce/arts/humanities are eligible for the GATE.
- Apart from that, the candidate must hold Indian citizenship.
- There is no age-limit or pass percentage to appear for the examination.
- Candidates from Nepal, Bangladesh, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia, and the United Arab Emirates can apply for GATE 2026.

No, it is not likely to domain subject like physics to be conducted in multiple days in multiple shifts.
Because the paper can't be out so paper like physics in cuet conduct at a time only will lead to transparency and safe environment.
Otherwise for any exam where sets are different this can happen.

Candidates can apply for GATE 2026 once the registration link is activated. The link will be available for a specific timeline.
- First, the conducting authority, the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, launches the GATE 2026 official website along with the GATE dates. The official website of GATE 2026 is gate2026.iitg.ac.in. The GATE 2026 exam dates are OUT.
