A single slit diffraction pattern produces a central maximum and diminishing side bands as it interacts with itself and results from the wavefront bending around the edges of the slit. However, the double slit interference pattern forms equally spaced bright and dark fringes, and it is due to the light superposition from two different coherent sources.

The following conditions are needed to observe sustained (stable) interference:
- The two sources should have a constant phase difference, i.e; they should be coherent.
- The light waves need to have almost the same frequencies.
- The sources must emit waves with comparable amplitudes.
- The path difference should be within the coherence length.

You should try to register for IELTS at least 1 or 2 months early. Test dates get booked fast, especially during busy times. The advance booking of IELTS exam also gives you more time to prepare for IELTS properly.

It depends. Some students find IELTS easier because it feels more real and friendly. The Speaking test in IELTS is face-to-face with an examiner, not with a computer like in PTE or TOEFL. But TOEFL has more academic-style English, and PTE gives fast results.

Yes, now you can take IELTS One Skill Retake. You can retake only one part like Speaking, Listening, Reading, or Writing. You don't need to do the full test again.
This is only for people who did the full IELTS test on computer and are not happy with one part. You must do it within 60 days of your test.
