Sri Sharda Group of Institutions considers score in CAT, MAT, CMAT or CUET-PG for admission to MBA programme. However, it is not mandatory to have an entrance exam score for admission to MBA programme. The institute also selects candidates based on their score in qualifying exam and their performance in the personal interview round.

In 2024, JEE Advanced exam was conducted for the admission to BTech courses for various All India quotas. Considering the IIT Bhilai JEE Advanced cutoff 2024, for CSE, it is difficult for a student to get admission at a rank of 7000. Candidates having this much of rank must have to work hard as the cutoff itself is very low for CSE at IIT Goa. For the General AI category candidates, the CSE cutoff stood at 6516. IIT Goa has offered BTech courses through JEE Advanced exam scores. It has released the cutoffs for various All India quotas including General, OBC, SC, ST, PWD, and EWS categories. Among all the programs offered, the top three programs were BTech in CSE,  B.Tech. in Mathematics and Computing Engineering, and B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering.
