While preparing the GATE 2025 rank list for (regular category) admission to M.Tech programmes, if two or more candidates scored the same GATE score, then the following rules will be followed to determine inter-se-merit -
- Firstly, based on the aggregate/total percentage of marks obtained in Class 12, the candidate having higher percentage of marks to be ranked higher.
- If the aggregate/total percentage of marks obtained in Class 12 does not break the tie, then based on the aggregate/total percentage of marks obtained in Class 10, the candidates having higher percentage of marks will be ranked higher.

Central University of Punjab accepts CUTE PG or Common University Entrance Test (Postgraduate) exams for admission to its MA course. Interested applicants can access the CUET PG 2025 application form by visiting the official website. The first process will be registering themselves on the official web portal of CUET PG 2025. Through that registered account, further processing of filling out the application form will be done. However, candidates must have a valid qualification to be eligible for the exam.
