By having an EWS category rank of 2000 in JEE Mains, you have a decent possibility of securing Computer Science in few NITs or any state-level engineering institutions. Depending upon the cutoff, you may also be able to get into NITs like NIT Jamshedpur or NIT Nagaland. Looking at previous year cutoffs to have a clear picture will be very helpful.

Considering 88 percentile in JEE Mains and also OBC category, you will be able to take admission in many colleges in Uttar Pradesh for B.Tech. HBTU Kanpur, KIET Ghaziabad, and SRM University-Delhi NCR are among those. But, as it largely varies with branch and respective college's cutoff, you should check the trends of last year of college and respective branchwise cutoffs to get a reliable idea.

NIT Tiruchirappalli (NIT Trichy) does not consider JEE Advanced rank for admission. Instead, the JoSAA counselling process based on the JEE Main ranks is considered. The needed rank varies branch and category wise In case of top branches like Computer Science, the cutoff remains usually below 2,000 for general category students. The cutoffs of other branches may be higher. For the latest updates, please visit JoSAA official website for the cutoffs.

With a JEE Mains rank of 5 lakh, entry into good NITs or IITs is really impossible, especially for competitive streams. But still, you can choose to take good private and semi-government colleges:

1. Shiv Nadar University, Greater Noida – Offers good B.Tech courses with acceptable placement figures.
2. UPES Dehradun – Known for engineering and technology courses, offering exposure to the industry
3. Chandigarh University Provides various engineering courses with good campus placement
4. Manipal University Jaipur - For its B.Tech programs and campus infrastructure
5. VIT Bhopal For its quality education and placement in various fields of

The desired CMAT range to get admission at  De Paul Institute of Science and Technology (DiST) for MBA depends on the cuttoff. Generally, good institutes have the CMAT percentile range of 80-90% of admissions in MBA and if we talk about this institute, the cutoff will not be more than 70%. This is only an estimation which is made overseeing various factors such as reviews, past data etc. and the actual cuttoff may vary. So overall we can say that a decent CMAT score will be enough to get admission in MBA at this college.

With a 91.22% percentile and an open-EWS rank of 21974 in JEE Mains, you might be able to secure admission to a good engineering college in Maharashtra, but likely not one of the absolute top-ranked institutions like IIT Bombay or ICT Mumbai; you may be able to get into a reputed private college or a lower-ranked government college depending on your branch preference and the specific cutoff for the college and course you choose.
