The nearest TOEFL exam centres will vary from the location you are applying for the registration. Candidates are advised to book their TOEFL test dates in advance for the nearest test centres and the dates they want to attempt the test.

The exam centres of NIPER JEE 2026 are being alloted after the completion of the application form. Candidates are advised to choose 3 the nearest NIPER JEE cities as the preferred centres carefully. The exam centre is allotted based on the preference and the availability of the centres.

Meeting certain cutoff ranks in both JEE Mains and JEE Advanced is necessary to gain admission to the Computer Science Engineering (CSE) branch at prestigious universities like IITs and NITs.
Cutoff percentile for JEE Mains: General Category in 2024 was 93.23.
OBC-NCL Category: 79.68 was the cutoff percentile.
General Category JEE Advanced Cutoff: 30.34% was the cutoff percentile.
OBC-NCL Category: 27.30% was the cutoff percentile.

Securing direct admission to IITs is improbable with a 12th-grade PCM score of 81% and a SC preparation rank of 4203 in JEE Advanced 2024, as this rank normally falls above the cutoff for SC category seats. However if you don't meet the regular cutoffs, you can be eligible for a one-year preparatory course that IITs give to SC, ST and PwD candidates. The exam conducting authorities releases the actual number of NIPER JEE exam centres in the official notification only while as per the previous year details there will be 20 exam centre cities where exam is being conducted. The actual number of exam centres will be notified after form filling as it will vary on the students.

Due to higher cutoff ranks it may be difficult to gain admission to prestigious National Institutes of Technology (NITs) for subjects like Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) or the Electrical Engineering (EE) if you have an All India Rank (AIR) of 172383 in JEE Mains and fall within the OBC-NCL category.
Using data from prior years, you may be able to get into less popular branches or newer NITs.
You may want to apply to the following NITs:
