The particular programme you're interested in will determine whether or not NIELIT Patna demands an entrance exam as well as which test results are recognised for admission. The institute has different admissions procedures and offers a wide variety of certificate and Diploma programs.

The majority of certificate programs

Admissions to numerous certificate programmes at NIELIT Patna are made only on the basis of merit, which is assessed by your academic record and test scores in particular topics. These programs don't require entrance exams.

Yes, NSIT accepts JEE score for admission to its B.Tech programmes. According to some web search results, candidates should have at least 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in Qualifying exams / 12th from the recognised Center or State Board. In addition, they should also have passed English as a core or elective subject in 10+2. Also, the candidates have to pass in each subject separately. The admission process is based on the rank of JEE Mains followed by counselling and interview. I hope this answers your question.
