Applicants whose first language is not English must meet the English language requirements. The university accepts IELTS score as a language requirement. Students can check below the English language requirements for undergraduate and graduate admissions:

Undergraduate first-year entry programs

IELTS-Academic: 6.5 overall with no single band score less than 6.0

Undergraduate third-year entry and graduate programs

IELTS-Academic: 6.5 overall with a minimum of 6.5 in writing and speaking, and 6.0 in listening and reading

Admission to the MBA courses is based on the marks obtained in the entrance exams; therefore, candidates must appear in any one of the entrance exams listed below and have a valid score:

  • CAT
  • MAT
  • CUET

Applicants must have at least 50% aggregate in their graduation to be eligible for admission to the MBA courses.

MAT exams for the December 2023 phase are now closed. For the upcoming phase, the MAT registration window will open again in January 2024. To apply for the MAT exam, candidates need to register at the AIMA website and pay the requisite fee. For more information,   students can visit the institute's official website.

Yes. The Non-GATE entrants can take admission with a valid Department Admission Test (DAT) score or ‘A and B’ exams score conducted by the Institution of Engineers (India). Candidates can apply for the DAT exam by visiting the CUSAT website.

VJTI Mumbai accepts the scores of GATE and MAH-CET entrance exams for admission to M.Tech courses. The candidates must have a valid score in either of these exams and a BE/ B.Tech degree from any AICTE-recognized college or university with more than 50% marks. For admission to the B.Tech programme, entrance tests such as the JEE Mains, JEE Advanced, and University-Specific tests are necessary. The following is the selection process for BTech at Lingaya's Vidyapeeth:-

  • First of all students have to fill the application form from the Institute' official website with all necessary details like 12 th marks, entrance exam marks etc. along with the payment of application fees.
