In case you are unable to attend a BSE Odisha 10th board exam, you will be awarded zero marks in the subject. Eventually, you will be asked to appear for the compartment exam. Thus, it is better to focus and study hard and not skip or leave your exam and pass with flying colours.

For Class 10th, it is considered to be strict. However, it is said that the checking done by evaluators is linient in comparison to the checking done by them in Class 9, 11 in their schools.
So, if you have covered the entire Odisha BSE 10th syllabus and your preparation is on point, then you must not worry about the strict checking.

Students must not carry the follow items to exam hall.
- Mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, headphones, pagers, fitness bands, cameras, etc.
- Wallets, goggles, handbags, and purses.
- They must carry all the stationary items that are required to appear for the BSE Odisha board exams since sharing of stationary is not allowed.
- Do not forget to carry your Odisha 10th admit card on all exam days.

The student must know that cheating is a serious offense. In case any candidates is cought cheating, they will risk severe consequences, including a two-year ban from RBSE Board class 10/12 exams. Therefore, all the students are strongly advised to cover the entire RBSE Board class 10/12 exam syllabus and be prepared for the board exams. Moreover, candidates should also practice RBSE class 10/12 sample papers and previous year's exam question papers.

Odisha board is strictly against the practise of using any unfair means during the examinations. The board is actively working to prevent and discourage any malpractice during board examinations every year.
So, you are advised to go through the BSE Odisha 10th syllabus and solve as many previous years question papers and sample papers to avoid cheating during the Odisha 10th board exams.
