Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions is referred to as TNEA. Every year, TNEA is conducted by the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Technical Education. It is a portal for online counselling. All Indian national candidates must apply for TNEA counselling if they want to be considered for admission to any of the following: Government and Government-aided engineering colleges; university departments; constituent colleges of Anna University and Annamalai University; and seats relinquished by self-financing engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu.

Amity University Noida considers XAT scores, and some say that Amity University considers CAT, GMAT, and XAT scores.

For the MBA General program, Amity University requires a score of 85th percentile in CAT or MAT. For other MBA programs, such as MBA Marketing, MBA Retail, MBA HR, and MBA Corporate Finance, the cutoff is 75th percentile.

Amity University offers direct admission to undergraduate courses to students who have an aggregate of 80% or more in Class XII. However, direct admission is not available for Architecture, Design, Education, Fine Arts, Fashion, Law, and Physical Education.

Amity University also offers direct admission to its own graduates for all Master's programs. This is only applicable to graduates from 2023 and 2024, and they must meet the program's minimum eligibility requirements.
