According to RNS Institute of Technology Round 3 cutoff, the closing ranks for all BTech specialisations ranged between 11782 and 25904 for All India seats. If anticipated on the last years ranks, getting a seat in All India Quota with COMEDK rank of 26000 will not be possible. However, the institute also offers admission through Home State Quota, where the closing ranks for COMEDK R3 seat allotment for all BTech specialisations ranged between 22786 and 46777. It only possible in the case of Home State Quota to get a seat at 26000 COMEDK rank in RNSIT. 

No, NIFT is not required for MIT Institute of Design. The admission eligibility criteria for MIT Institute of Design are based on the candidate's performance in the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) conducted by the institute. The eligibility criteria for B.Des design and M.Des design programs at MIT Institute of Design require a minimum of 50% aggregate in all subjects in 10+2 from any stream (from any of the State Boards/ CBSE/ ICSE/ ISC/ CIE/ IB/ NIOS or equivalent exam). Additionally, proficiency in English and a valid score of MIT Pune Design Aptitude Test (DAT) or other equivalent exams such as NID-DAT, NIFT, UCEED, or Avantika Design Scholastic Test (ADST) is required.
