The MICAT score stays valid for the current academic session only. The scores of MICAT 2024 will not be valid for the next academic year. Neither the MICAT scores from previous year can be used for admission to the 2024-25 session. Thus, the candidates looking for admission in the 2024-25 session have to appear and qualify MICAT 2024. Candidates who wish for admission in 2025-26 admission session must appear for MICAT 2025.

The institute does not need SAT or ACT scores and instead places a strong emphasis on applicants' GPAs. For international students, passing marks on English language exams like the IELTS or an equivalent are essential.
