A candidate is eligible to appear for the DCJ entrance exam if:

  • He/she has passed the Bachelors Degree in any specialisation form MU or any other recognised university by the University of Mumbai.
  • He/she has submitted the DCJ exam application form of the Department of Communication and Journalism,  along with the statement of purpose and two testimonials as prescribed by the university.

No,  B.P Marine Academy doesn't conduct an entrance exam for admission in all courses except BSc. Admissions are merit based for all courses, but BSc at B.P Marine Academy is entrance based with the institution admitting those students who are eligible and are shortlisted.

Krupanidhi College of Management considers entrance exam scores for admission to MBA and PGDM programmes. The college accepts scores in CAT, XAT, MAT, PGCET, etc. for admission. Aspirants can also appear for Krupanidhi Scholarship Entrance Test (KSET) for admission. Selected aspirants are further called for group discussion and personal interview round for final selection.

The GATE exam is conducted for 30 subject test papers. The list of branches/subjects can be checked on the official website of GATE along with the paper codes. Candidates must check the GATE paper codes carefully and add them while filling out the GATE application form.

You can prepare for all entrance tests at same time. It is a tough task but not impossible. For this a proper strategy is required. Here are some important tips. 

  • Compare the syllabus: All engineering entrance exams have almost the same syllabus. There might be some additional topics in some exams. The aspirant must study the syllabus for all exams and find out the topics that are extra, and prepare those separately. Almost 90% of the topics will be common for all entrance exams, and hence, syllabus completion for one exam will lead to completion of the syllabus for all the exams.

In NEET entrance test, the weightage of Class 11 Physics Chapter 11 Thermodynamics is around 7%. Students should thoroughly understand the thermodynamic laws and internal energy. The medical entrance test includes theory and numerically-based questions. For JEE Main, the chapter has more significance, and it has nearly 15% weightage of the total Physics syllabus.
