According to last years' trends, CAP Test entrance written exam includes 50 questions of one mark each. The question paper is divided into six sections.

• Media and Advertising. 

The selection process is based on students' merit. To secure admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Apart from the UG and PG courses, the institute also offers Certificate and After 10th Diploma. Candidates must meet the college's eligibility criteria. For UG courses, aspirants must complete Class 12/Class 10 as per the course requirement.

Michigan Technological University does not have a rigid requirement for the GMAT or the GRE for many of its graduate-level programs. However, some programs have these tests as an admission requirement. Graduate Programs like an MS in Data Science require international students to submit the GRE scores.

If you belong to the General category under the AI quota, admission to the Master of Fashion Management (MFM) course at NIFT Shilong is not possible with a cutoff rank of 800. In 2025, the maximum cutoff required was 532 till Round 3 for MFM admission among the students belonging to the General AI quota. However, a cutoff rank of 800 is a decent rank to get admission to the MFM course for students other than those in the general category. Aspirants do not require passing an entrance test for admission at Dev Bhoomi Institute of Hotel Management. The selection for Diploma programmes is based on qualifying exam scores of the candidates. Those who meet the eligibility requirements are offered admission in the institute.
