No, they don't. You just need to fulfill the eligibility requirements, and you're good to go. Distance MSW colleges not only simplify the admission criteria, but are also affordable, equally recognized, and provide flexibility.

There are two entrance exams required for University of Mumbai Thane Sub Campus admissions. Students need only appear for one out of the two exams depending on one's chosen course such as:

  • Students must appear for the MAH CET exam for the Integrated BMS-MBA programme
  • For BBA LLB admissions students have MH CET Law exams.

No, one cannot join University of Mumbai Thane Sub Campus BBA LLB without entrance exam as the selection process depends on national and state-level entrance exam scores such as MH CET Law. Though the university also used to conduct its own admission tests such as MUMCET for BMS-MBA, these exams have since been discontinued with only mode of admission being national entrance exams.

JEE Main is conducted in two sessions, the first in January/February and the second in April. This helps students to appear in both papers if required and correct their scores. If you participate in both exam sessions, the system intelligently recognises your "Best of Two" scores and finalises your All India Rank (AIR). This structure is particularly beneficial for JNU BTech aspirants, as the limited seat capacity (126 seats) requires a very high percentile; having a second attempt in April allows you to refine your performance and meet the university's competitive cutoffs.
