For admission to the BPharma course at Hygia Institute of Pharmacy, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. The selection criteria for this course is merit-based and candidates must pass Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics. The duration of the course is four years.

As the VSAT is not very difficult compared to other engineering entrance exams like the JEE, it becomes easy for even the average students to crack it easily. However, to do the same they need follow the prep tips mentioned below - 

• Stick to the NCERT books and a couple of supplementary books, thats it.
• Don't overburden yourself with a lot of books, and prep notes. Just stick to the basics and cover the syllabus of VSAT well before time.
• Give mock tests.
• Solve past year question papers in abundance.

The selection criteria are based on merit/entrance exam scores. To get admission for UG, PG, Diploma and PhD courses at Hygia Institute of Pharmacy, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the college. Candidates must pass graduation and Class 12 as per course requirement. 

Maths in VSAT test will include topics from Geometry, Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, Probability, and Coordinate Geometry. The questions will be based on Class 11 and 12 NCERT.

It is conducted to shortlist students for B.Tech and other UG courses. VSAT evaluates candidates on basis of their knowledge in academic and aptitude.

The Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology & Research, organises the VSAT exam to shortlist candidates for B.Tech courses at its university.

The following are the topics covered in this chapter: Electric Field and Field Lines, Gauss's Law, Electric Dipole, Conductors and Insulators, and Electric Flux. 

For JEE Main exam, the Electric Charges and Fields is an important chapter. It is a part of Electrostatics unit. The weightage of this unit is around 6-9% of the total Physics section. You should expect around 3-5 questions in this unit including the questions from the class 12 physics chapter 1.

In the medical entrance test NEET, this chapter has a moderate weightage. You can expect around 2-3 questions of this chapter that contributes to the 3-5% of the total marks in the Physics section.
