Target lower-ranked NITs, state government engineering colleges, or private engineering colleges for your ranks rather that top NITs or old IIITs. Prioritize checking recent cutoffs for these institutes for final decision.

With this rank of 3700 in EWS, you can not get ECE in NIT calicut by any means. You can get civil or mining or even chemical engineering easily. you can get ECE in other NITs but not in Calicut .

Your category rank, which represents your place within your particular reservation category, should be your primary tool for predicting your college options in JEE Main. Some seats are distributed based on CRL, particularly after all category seats are filled, so it's also very important to take your CRL (Common Rank List) or All India Rank (AIR) into account during the actual JoSAA/CSAB counseling.

Regardless of your category, the CRL is a ranking determined by how well you did on the entrance exam. The UPTAC website displays the category rank when you filter by category (e.g., BC Girl). This indicates that the rank does not represent your overall ranking among all candidates, but rather your place within your particular category (in this case, BC).

You can't get into architecture purely through CUET. Most colleges ask for a valid NATA or JEE paper 2 score along with PCM in class 12. CUET alone isn't enough so if you're serious about B.Arch make sure you appear for NATA or JEE.
