ILSAT 2023: The ICFAI Law School, Hyderabad has announced the admission notification for ILSAT 2023 on January 2, 2023. Candidates seeking admissions to BBA LLB (Hons) and BA LLB (Hons) programs offered at ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE), Hyderabad can apply online for ILSAT 2023 till May 28, 2023. The ICFAI Law School Admission Test (ILSAT 2023) will be conducted on June 4, 2023, as scheduled. ILSAT 2023 will be held as a self-directed Computer-Based Test mode from 10 am to 12 pm in 18 cities across the nation. What is ILSAT?
ICFAI Law Admission Test or ILSAT is an entrance exam conducted by the ICFAI Law School for admissions to undergraduate law courses. The law admission test is conducted in CBT mode. Questions in the entrance test come from English, logical reasoning, legal reasoning, GK / Current Affairs and analytical reasoning. The selection for admission into the program is based on merit secured in the ILSAT and performance in the personal interview and previous academics.
Candidates appeared or appearing in CLAT/ LSAT India exams will be exempted from giving the ILSAT exam for UG law courses. Admission of such candidates will be done on the basis of their CLAT/ LSAT India score followed by a personal interview round.

ILSAT 2023 Application Form
The application process of ILSAT has three modes:
How to Apply: Applicants interested in appearing for ILSAT 2023 can apply by any one of the following methods.
(a) online Application
Applicants can apply online by filling up the Application Form available at ifheindia.org/fol and make payment of INR 1000 towards the cost using Credit/ Debit Card (Visa/Master Card/Internet Banking) through a secure internet payment gateway. Applicants applying online should upload their passport size color photograph while filling the Online Application. The Law Programs Prospectus will be sent to such applicants.
(b) Download Application Form
Alternatively, applicants can download the Application Form from ifheindia.org/fol and send it to the Admissions Office along with the Bank Demand Draft of INR 1,000 drawn on Scheduled Commercial Bank towards the cost of the application.
The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of “IFHE-Prospectus Fee A/c ILSAT 2023” payable at Hyderabad. The Law Programs Prospectus will be sent to such applicants.
(c) Fill the Application Form
Applicants can fill in the application form given on page 7 and send it to the Admissions Office.
ILSAT Eligibility Criteria 2023
The eligibility for ILSAT 2023 is given below:
- Pass in Class XII or equivalent with an aggregate of 50% and above marks in single attempt (any discipline) in English medium
- Class XII (or equivalent) students who appeared for their final examinations before July 01, 2023 and awaiting results are also eligible to apply
- Should have qualified in ILSAT 2023 conducted by ICFAI Law School, Hyderabad
Age: Applicants should not be more than 21 years of age as of the day of commencement of Semester I. However, the changes if any made to age limit by the BCI from time to time will be followed. Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary School Certificate will be taken as authentic.
ILSAT Admission Process 2023
Step 1: Apply for ILSAT Exam
Candidates can fill the application form in the online or offline mode.
- For online registrations, candidates need to visit the official website of IFHE, Hyderabad and fill the ILSAT application form there. Candidates can also submit the ILSAT application fee in the online mode (credit card/ debit card/ net banking).
- For offline mode, candidates can also download the ILSAT 2023 application form from the IFHE website.
Note: Candidates seeking admissions on the basis of CLAT/ LSAT India must mention their score, rank, and application number on the ILSAT application form, informs the official website.
Step 2: Download ILSAT Admit Card
- Once successfully registered, candidates need to download their ILSAT admit card from the official website of IFHE, Hyderabad.
- It is mandatory for candidates to bring the admit card to the ILSAT exam centre.
- Candidates not carrying their ILSAT admit card to the exam centre will not be allowed to appear for the test, informs the official website.
Step 3: Appear for ILSAT
Candidates need to appear for ILSAT at the exam centre as allotted to them on the admit card.
They should report to the allotted test centre at least an hour before the exam timings and should carry one valid ID proof on along with the admit card.
Step 4: Check ILSAT Results
Once the law entrance exam is conducted, IFHE will declare ILSAT result on its official website. ILSAT exam result will contain the names of candidates shortlisted for the next round.
Step 4: Appear for Personal Interview Round
Candidates passing the law entrance exam then need to appear for the personal interview round. Candidates clearing the personal interview round are provided admission in five-year integrated LLB and LLM courses. Candidates having a valid rank in CLAT/ LSAT India exam need to directly appear for this round.

ILSAT Admit Card 2023
Applicants should carry the ILSAT admit card to the test centre. Applicants will not be allowed to appear for the test without the admit card. candidates can download the admit card online using their ILSAT 2023 login details. The admit card shall bear the allotted exam centre and also the reporting time. Applicant must present the original and valid (non-expired) form of photo identification before appearing for the test. The name on the photo identification must match the name as entered in the ILSAT 2023 registration. Passport; Aadhaar Card; College ID or a notarized Affidavit with photo, signature, date of birth and residential address are acceptable identifications. Photocopies of the original are not acceptable.
ILSAT Result 2023
The results of the ILSAT 2023 is posted online on ifheindia.org/fol. Successful applicants will be intimated individually through E-mail. The selection for admission into the program is based on merit secured in the ILSAT 2023 and performance in the personal interview and previous academics. Selection letters for provisional admission is issued to the applicants selected on the day of the interview. The provisional admission is subject to payment of the admission fee and verification of testimonials. Once the applicants are given provisional admission, they should report for registration into the first semester of the program along with the required certificates and program fee.
