 Jindal Global Business School's CAT cutoff 2025 was released for admission to the MBA course based on the students' performance in the CAT exam. The cutoff was released for various All India categories in the form of percentiles. 

For the General AI category, the required percentile was 50. Hence, students who belong to this category needed a 50th percentile to be qualified to reach the second round of admissions, which involves GD and PI. Candidates who clear the 2nd round are eligible for admission.

Section-Wise Difficulty (B.Pharm Stream)

  • Mathematics:

    • Considered the toughest section.

    • Heavy focus on calculus, integration, and coordinate geometry.

    • Time-consuming and required conceptual clarity.

  • Physics:

    • Moderate difficulty.

    • Questions from mechanics, optics, and modern physics.

    • Numerical problems were lengthy, testing speed and accuracy.

  • Chemistry:

With a JEE Main 2026 OBC-NCL rank of 2,63,409, admission to NITs/IIITs/GFTIs through JoSAA is not possible, even in lower-demand branches. Cutoffs for OBC-NCL category in NITs usually close around 50,000–70,000 ranks for Civil/Mechanical, and even newer NITs rarely go beyond 1.2–1.5 lakh.


 What You Can Expect

1. NITs/IIITs/GFTIs

  • ❌ Not possible at 2.6 Lacs OBC rank.
  • Even Mining/Metallurgy in newer NITs close much earlier.

2. State Government Colleges

  • You can still get admission through state-level counseling (REAP Rajasthan, HSTES Haryana, UPSEE, Maharashtra CAP, HP Tech University, etc.).
