Banaras Hindu University, which is also known as BHU Varanasi is a central university. It recognised by the UGC and accredited with an 'A' Grade by the NAAC. It is also a member of the AIU. BHU is a reputed university all over the nation and could be a decent choice for students. Many students from different states look forward to take admission as BHU is ranked 4 and 5 in the 'Agriculture and Allied Sectors' and 'Universities' categories by the NIRF Rankings 2024. The university is also ranked 1001-1200 in the 'University' categories by the QS World University Ranking 2025. Faculty of Law MGKPV offers a two-year LLM course for candidates and the total seat-intake for the course is 66. Candidaets who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for the course through the online application form on the official website of the university. The admission process is merit based for the LLM course.

Faculty of Law MGKPV offer the LLM course for candidates wishing to pursue a Masters degree in the field of Law. LLM at Faculty of Law MGKPV is a two-year course and candidates must have a minimum of 55% aggregate in their LLB course or their 5-year UG integrated Law programme to be eligible.

  • BA-LLB: Five-year UG programme for budding your professionals
  • LLB: Three year Law course for candidates who have completed their graduation
  • LLM: A two-year PG programme for candidates wishing to specialise in a particular stream of Law

The course fee for BA-LLB at Faculty of Law MGKPV is INR 2.80 lakh. Candidates are required to follow the payment guidelines that are set by the university. Candidates are  required to pay the fee on a yearly basis. Candidates who complete the admission process and make it to the final shortlist are eligible to pay the course fee.
