There are several choices for pursuing your career in the fashion design field as B. Des Fashion Design, B.Sc. Fashion, B.A. , or Diploma courses as well but amongst all B. Des Fashion Design 4-year programs is considerably more professional and industrial specific in comparison. It carries more weightage in several areas. You can make your specialisation with Master's to choose an industry in a fashion design career, like accessories, apparel, or textile designing, etc. There are many good universities that provide B. Des in fashion, Interior, and Product design, and more. To name a few:

The B.Voc course in Fashion Designing covers numerous areas including Design Thinking and Idea Generation, Fabric Manufacturing, Pattern Making and Construction, Drafting, Fashion Merchandising and Fashion Marketing to name a few. The eligibility criteria of B.Voc in Fashion design is 10+2 in any stream with minimum 50% of marks. The few colleges offering the B.Voc in Fashion Design are given below.
1. GGDSD College Chandigarh
2. ARCH College of Design & Business, Jaipur

You can apply for M.Des in Fashion Design, Students coming from any 10+2 or graduation discipline from a recognised university, or board can appear for any entrance or admission process or any design course. In Punjab, you will find a lot of colleges that provide B.Sc. Fashion Designing. I would personally recommend you to choose a college that would give you practical exposure as fashion designing is a practical oriented programme and requires you to have a proper understanding about the techniques being used in it.
