Design careers are aptitude and interest based and hence it is difficult to say 'which is better'. At would we understand that for many students it is difficult to make a choice at the time of entrance and most of them do so because of peer pressure or a perceived 'good career option'.

If you are good at your work then each design specialisation offers a very satisfying and lucrative career. That's why at would we allow you to change your choice of specialisation after your foundation year.

Fashion Design is one of the flagship courses at would. As we are a new university, we do not have data on any batch which has passed out. However we have as our Vice Chancellor, Dr. Sanjay Gupta who is the former Dean of NIFT and who has been responsible for placing thousands of NIFT graduates in fashion industry. He was one of the member of the team which founded FDCI. Our Dean of Fashion Design is Prof. Kharb who is a graduate of NIFT and a post graduate of London College of Fashion and has founded and ran multiple companies before coming into academics. Our industry connect is therefore very strong and so will be our placements.

NIFT is what you want for Fashion Designing. NID is also good but NIFT is dedicated to FD and is way better than NID for FD.

In my opinion, NID is tougher to clear as compared to AIEED as no. Of seats are limited. Being one of the premier institutes in design, its harder to clear the entrance test.
