Yes, you can definitely make a career in fashion after doing engineering! Who says you can't?
If you think again for a second, you will realize how hand in hand fashion and engineering go. What is fashion, if not newer innovation of trends and technology related to it. If you feel passionate about designing and fashion, you should definitely go for it.

The placements are decent. The average salary offered through campus placement is approximately 5 Lacs PA, while the highest has been 7 Lacs PA.

You can pursue one year Diploma courses in fashion/interior/jewellery designing courses instead of wasting one years and even can do short-term computer courses.

One gets exposure to the industry through the curriculum course. It has classroom learning along with industry exposure. The faculty and teaching are excellent and the fee structure is not very high at 1.5 LPA. It is rated 3.9/5. The campus placements though are not satisfactory according to me as one gets a package of just 1 LPA to 3 LPA.
