You can join Diploma courses in fashion designing, but it is not that good and will not be useful to you. My advice is to pass in class 12th with good percentage, and then try for NIFT exam. In this, you have a chance to get admission in best government colleges. I am saying this, because this course is still growing and it is not at peak like of B.Tech, MBA, etc.

It would depend on every year. But averagely, it would be maximum would be up to 3400 rank in OBC.

Hi Harika!
Yes, you can pursue a post graduation Diploma in fashion design. Many fashion institutes allow admission to students from a different background than fashion to take the entrance exam. The admission is purely based on your performance in the entrance test. Some of the institutes that you can apply to, are:
1. NIFT
2. JD Institute of Fashion
3. B. D. Somani Institute of Art and Fashion Technology
4. Apeejay Institute of Design.

Hi Pawan!
A graduate in any stream is eligible to apply for a professional fashion design course in GIFT Design Academy. Also, there are many other institutes that offer a diploma course in fashion that you are eligible to pursue.
