In AIFD CAT exam paper, each question will have four alternative choices and candidates need to mark the correct answer. There is no negative marking in the exam.
AIFD CAT question paper has a total of three sections as mentioned in the table below:

To apply for B.Sc in costume design and fashion in Sri Krishna Arts and Science College, you need to clear your 10+2 from a recognized board of school in any stream. You can directly apply to the college for admission. There is no entrance exam for this college as such, but there will be a personal interview to assess your interest and personality traits.

If the fashion industry interests you and you have a knack for it, you should definitely go for it. Many institutes offer Diploma at PG level in fashion that candidate from any stream or background can pursue. Such institutes include INIFD, JD Institute of fashion Technology, Apeejay Institute of Design, IIFT and Amity University.

I think, you should go for Fashion designing if you are interested. One should always work in the area or field which they are interested in.
And fashion designing is all about apparels, from their sketches to their construction, embroidery to their pattern, production to sales, photoshoot to marketing, exhibition to fashion weak.
It doesn't matter that how much you know about fashion once you start the course. They will teach you different aspects of fashion and designing garment.
