Food Technology and food nutrition both to me appear to the branches, which will be in great demand in the times to come. Food technology will be definitely required in future so that the increased crop production or the Horticulture production can be utilized gainfully without being waste. On the other hand food nutrition will be the demand of people so that they eat nutritious food to maintain their health. Hence I feel both branches have equal opportunities as the time goes on. As far as you are doing your Masters, then you can easily apply for part time job, or else go for civil services preparation.

For job opportunities, B.Sc Food technology is better. It has better job options in industry.
