Indian students are not eligible for the MSc in Computer Science at the University of Galway with a standard Commerce background. The MSc in Computer Science requires a UG degree in Computer Science or a heavily quantitative Science or Engineering degree.
Look at the given pointers -
- It is not a conversion course and a background with basic Maths and Excel is not enough for this level of Programming and Machine Learning requirements.
- A better alternative for the same is MSc in Business Analytics, specifically designed for Commerce, Economics and Business grads.

Yes, having 70 to 75% in your bachelor's definitely makes you eligible for the University of Galway admissions.
A UG degree with this score is generally considered a first-class or high second-class degree in the Indian grading system. The courses in Business may require a higher percentage.
Look at the University of Galway grading system in alignment with Irish standards -
- 70%+: Qualifies as a 2:1 equivalent
- 60 - 69%: Qualifies as a 2:2 equivalent
- Below 60%: May need work experience to compensate or a foundation program
