To take GAT demo test, students must:

  1. Go to gitam.edu
  2. Screen will display login page; enter following details:
    • Name
    • Email
    • Course
  3. Click on tab 'Start'
  4. Screen will now display GAT online test demo

NDA answer key will be released separately for Maths and GAT soon after the exam is over. The answer key will be made available for all sets of test booklets-A,B, C, D. The answer key will be released unofficially by coaching institutes in PDF form. There will be a total of 150 questions in GAT. Each section of the exam will be held for 2 ½ hours. The GAT section will be for 600 marks. The GAT section is divided into two parts. Part A comprises English while Part B consists of General Knowledge. The previous year's NDA answer key released by coaching institutes are provided at Shiksha portal.

Before filling the GAT application form, candidates must ensure to keep the following documents ready:

  • Any valid Government ID proof.    

  • Educational Qualification details.    

  • Scanned clear passport photograph in JPG/JPEG format either in colour or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against white background.    

  • Scanned clear signature in JPG/JPEG format.    

  • Scanned class X or equivalent Certificate as a proof of Date of Birth.

GITAM Admission Test will be a Computer Based Test (CBT). The exam will be held in online mode. Candidates will have to report at allotted GAT exam centre. Each candidate will be provided with desktop and mouse. Candidates will have to use mouse to mark the correct answer on screen. In CBT mode, exam duration will be mentioned on the screen.

Yes, students can apply for one or more courses after checking GAT eligibility criteria. Candidates can select one or more courses while filling online form. Student must pay the GAT application fee for successful registration.

On release of the GAT application form, candidates will have an option to add the GAT exam centre preferences. Candidates will get the opprtunity to choose upto three exam centres from the given list. Candidates must enter the list of GAT exam centre in order of prefrence. GAT exam centre will be alloted on the basis of the preference added by the candidate and availability of centre.
