GAT 2026 registrations has commenced online. Candidates seeking admission to UG or PG program of GAT, must fill the online application form by:
- Visiting official website of GAT: gitam.edu
- Click on tab 'New Registration' and enter personal details
- Upon successful registration, candidates will receive an application number and password.
- Login with details and complete form
- Upload required documents, in mentioned size and format
- Pay application fees online.

No, candidates will not receive the hard copy of GAT 2026 admit card. Registered candidates must download the GAT admit card 2026 online when released. Only candidates who will register successfully along with the payment of application fee will be able to download the admit card soon after. GAT 2026 hall ticket is an important document that has to be shown on the day of the examination. Candidate will not be permitted to hsow the digital copy of the GAT 2026 admit card.

If a candidate has forgotten GAT login details, it can be recover details by:
- On GAT login page click on 'Forgot Password' tab
- Enter registered email address to receive link for changing password.
- A link will be sent to the registered email address.
- Click on link, reset the password and click on 'Submit' button.
- Candidates can log in to their GAT account.

No, it won't be a problem. You should have obtained at least 50% in the qualifying degree exam. Backlogs will not affect your enrollment for the Entrance examination. I got 6 backlogs in my previous semester (5th semester), and I think I will get 2 or 3 backlogs this semester also.
