Candidates who will secure the minimum required marks in the GAT PGT exam will be shortlisted and called for counselling. The counselling process for the reserved category will be conducted immediately after the result is out. For the rest of the candidates, counselling will be from after the counselling for reserved counselling. .

GAT PGT will be declared in online mode. The candidates must check the official website for the results. The candidates will be called for counselling based on their scores on GAT. The candidates may need to enter their roll number or registration number to access their results.

If the candidates find any error on the admit card, candidates can contact the helpline services. The important details printed on the admit card is
- Name of the candidate
- Roll number of the candidate
- Registration number
- Date of birth
- Date of the exam
- Exam venue and address
- Instructions for exam day

Candidates can carry anyone of the following document along with the admit card - Passport / Driving License / EC voter ID card / IT PAN card / School or College photo bearing ID card / Aadhar Card. The admit card is a mandatory document to be taken to the exam centre.

The admit card will be available for download a few days prior to the exam date. The exact date of release of admit card is not announced yet. Candidates will be able to download their GAT PGT admit card 2025 by using the login credentials. No candidate will receive the admit card through email, fax and post.

A total of 100 questions will be asked in the exam wherein 40 questions will be asked from Quantitative Aptitude and 25 questions each from Reasoning and Verbal Ability and 10 questions from English. Each correct answer is given 2 marks and for each incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted. Candidates will get two hours to solve all the questions.
