GATE CCMT R1 has been released for admission to the M.Tech courses. Candidates seeking admission to the NIT Raipur M.Tech course must secure a rank between 353 and 438 under the first cutoff list for the General category students. Specialisation-wise Round 1 cutoffs are given below for NIT Raipur:

No, students seeking admission to IIT Jammu for MTech are required to have a valid score in the GATE exam. Other than this, the institute also conducts a written test and interview for further selection as per the official brochure. To add, students are also required to have passed their BTech degree in relevant branch. This information is as per details released by the institute for admission to its MTech course. However, for any other information around direct admission, candidates are advised to reach out to the admission office of the college for details.

Normalization is basically done for the exams, that are conducted in multiple sessions. It depends on various factors, such as the difficulty levels of the question papers across the multiple sessions into account. Or we can say that the scores obtained by the students are then normalized based on the mean and standard deviation of the raw scores in their respective sessions. Yes, candidates will be able to download their scorecards for GATE 2025 from March 28 to May 31, 2025. After May 31, candidates will need to pay a fee of INR 500 to download their admit card till December 31, 2025. After December 31, students will not be allowed to download their GATE 2025 scorecard. The scorecard will not be accessible to students after the due date. To obtain a scorecard after the due date, candidates will need to pay Rs 500 online through the GOAPS portal. Candidates who qualify for the GATE exam will be required to submit a GATE scorecard for admission and interviews. Candidates must keep with them a soft copy of the GATE 2025 scorecard. The exam authority will calculate the GATE score by considering the raw marks secured by candidates in the GATE 2025 result. The raw marks, or actual marks, will be allotted to the candidates after evaluating the answers. The GATE score for the multi-session exam will be calculated by converting the raw marks into the normalised marks for that particular subject.
