Applicants can download their hall ticket at the GOAPS portal using their enrollment ID and password. The admit card is a mandatory document that must be carried to the exam centre, as it serves as an identity proof.

The GATE 2026 application form correction window will open after the completion of the registration process. The correction facility will be made available for a few days. However, as per the official notification, the last date to submit the changes is November 6, 2025. During the correction facility, candidates will be able to change a few particulars, such as exam city, category, exam centre, etc.

The last date to register for GATE 2026 with late fees is October 9. For submission with late fees, the application form window will remain active from September 29 to October 9. The registration fee with late fees is as follows -
- For female/SC/ST and PwD candidates, the fee is INR 1500
- For all other candidates, including foreign nationals, the fee is INR 2500

The last date to register for GATE 2026 without late fees have been revised from September 28 to October 6. The GATE candidate login 2026 link is now activated for the application form process. Candidates who want to apply must visit the GATE's official website and register to receive an enrollment ID and password and apply within the mentioned dates.

The Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, is conducting the GATE 2026 exam. The GATE exam will take place on February 7, 8, 14, and 15 in two shifts. Candidates appearing for the exam must download the admit card at the GOAPS portal using their login credentials.

Here are some of the authorities who are eligible to issue the SC/ST certificate for the GATE application form -
- District Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate, Collector, Deputy Collector, Deputy Commissioner, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Extra Assistant Commissioner
- Chief Presidency Magistrate, Additional Chief Presidency Magistrate, Presidency Magistrate
- Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tahsildar
- Sub-Divisional Officer of the area where the candidate or their family resides.
- Administrator/Secretary to Administrator, Development Officer (Lakshadweep Islands)

The GATE 2025 cutoff of computer Science and information technology (category-wise) can be checked below -
- For general - 29.2
- OBC-NCL/EWS - 26.2
- SC/ST/PwD - 19.4
The cutoff is the minimum mark that is required for all candidates to qualify for the exam. IIT Guwahati will announce the GATE cutoff 2026 after the announcement of results.

Rahul Kumar Singh was the GATE 2025 topper of Computer Science and Information Technology. Rahul scored 100 (raw marks) and a GATE score of 1000 (out of 1000). The GATE 2025 result was announced on March 19. Candidates who have qualified in the GATE 2025 exam can download the scorecard till December 31, 2025 (by paying a fee of INR 500) from the GOAPS portal.

It is better to upload a new caste certificate in the GATE 2026 application form. Ensure that the caste certificate is properly scanned and attested by the relevant authorities. The document must be in PDF format and must be uploaded during the form filling process.
