Review of KIIT School of Electronics Engineering, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology.
Placements: The placement opportunities available at KIIT are at par with those of tier-1 and tier-2 colleges. A good number of companies come for recruitment. Similar to the top institutes like IITs and NITs, it always has diligent students with the right skill set who shine. The major difference is that here, to stand out, one needs to have an impressive resume to get that extra edge and get a job.
Infrastructure: It boasts modern infrastructure with supplementary resources. The library contains a diverse collection of books, novels, and journals. The canteen is spacious, offering a variety of food items in comfortable seating. A large number of students reside in the hostel, which is well-managed. The food provided is also satisfactory and meets basic quality standards.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. We need to be regular in classes. Almost all students pass through exams. The syllabus here is somewhat random dots, and we need to connect them to become industry-ready. Semester exams are at a good level, and we need to prepare well to pass the semester exams.

Good infrastructure and placements.
Placements: The percentage of students getting placed in the ETAC (Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering) course is around 85%. The highest package is 24 LPA, and the lowest is 7 LPA, with an average of 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, Mu Sigma, Bajaj India, Cognizant, etc. 80% of students get internship opportunities. Top roles include Web Developer, System Engineer, and Full Stack Developer.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are very good, with almost 24-hour Wi-Fi availability, and the library is also very good. Coming to the hostel, many types of rooms, but the quality of some hostels is below average. Medical facilities are good, although football courts are less in comparison to other sports. Overall, sports are good.
Faculty: Teachers are good and highly qualified, though a few exceptions are always there. The teaching quality is good, no doubt about that. The course is very much industry-relevant, and it has well-equipped laboratories too. The difficulty level of the semester exams depends on students and their preparation. The exams are not that tough, according to me, and the pass percentage is almost 94%.

Review of Kalinga Industrial Institute of Technology.
Placements: The total percentage of students placed in my course is nearly 78 percent. The highest package is 65 LPA, the lowest package is 8 LPA, and the average package offered is 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Wipro, Amazon, and other giants. The percentage of students who get internships is about 50 percent.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are top-notch. The Wi-Fi gives a powerful network speed of 10 Mbps. Labs and classrooms are equipped with all the features. The library is also open 24/7. The quality of facilities in the hostel is very good, and the staff and wardens are very well. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is very hygienic.
Faculty: Teachers are very approachable and helpful. They are always ready to help us, and during exam time, they take extra classes to solve our doubts. This course curriculum is relevant. The semester exams in college are a little bit tough, but if anyone studies a bit every day, then it's not a big deal.
Other: I chose this because I want to learn electronic and electrical engineering and want to become one, as my father is also an AI engineer. The best thing about our course is that facilities and professors are always ready to help us, and we can take their help and learn new things.

Good infrastructure and good event management.
Placements: I'm currently in 3rd year so I don't have any experiences yet but as I got to know from my seniors, most of them got placed in good IT companies like TCS, Microsoft, High Radius, etc. The average package is about 10 LPA. Since the last year, there has been a placement problem with many of my seniors. Our batch is getting ready for the placement sessions for the next semester (7th sem).
Infrastructure: There is a good availability of Wi-Fi on our campus. There are various laboratories based on electronics and software which provide great access for students' enhancement of their skills. Classrooms are well designed for study and air-conditioners are provided in each classroom along with smartboards and whiteboards. We have departmental libraries and a central library (the main library for the college). Hostel facilities are good as well. They are divided into premium and non-premium. They have a sports complex, canteen, and food court. The food quality of the mess in the hostel is average.
Faculty: Teachers of our department are very professional and knowledgeable. They provide a good base for students. They are very helpful and understanding as well. Course curriculum is very relevant to the outer world, which is the corporate world and helps students prepare for their future. Semester exams are moderately difficult but with regular preparation and regular attendance in classes, it's not that difficult to score a good CGPA.
Other: I chose B.Tech because I wanted to go for the technical field since childhood. I wanted to pursue this course because it will enhance my technical skills and make me ready for the technical world. As of now, there is no such thing that I would suggest for improvement. There are various events in our college like expos, fest, various orientations, and various festival celebrations like Ganesh Chaturthi and Saraswati Puja. We even have a Jagannath Temple at our college (KISS).
