Hello Shruti,
Ideally preparation for GATE entrance examination should begin from the third year of engineering. But, it need focus right from the second year of engineering. You have to cover up the syllabus of engineering from 3rd year. 60% questions are taken from 3rd year while the rest 40% are taken from the remaining engineering years or from some competitive exam books for GATE.

Hello Rajesh,
A doctoral degree is typically required to work as a full-time, tenure-track university professor. You should be prepared to earn an undergraduate degree in your chosen subject area, go to graduate school, complete a Ph.D. programme, conduct independent research, and write and publish articles in scholarly journals.
As you keep on earning more experience in the field, you will become eligible to be a professor in IIIT. Check the careers section on the IIIT website for the minimum eligibility criteria to be a professor.
I hope this answers your question. If you have any further questions, kindly revert.

Hi Surbhi,
Firstly, check if the GATE score is be required or not. And also, GATE score alone will not help. Overall, you must have good grades, take IELTS or TOEFL, learn German language to study in Germany and meet the university's admission requirements.

Hello Shashwat,
GATE is a national level entrance examination for Masters courses in engineering. In case you are unable to get through, you could try appearing for the entrance examination conducted by other states e.g. OJEE in Odisha, PGECET in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, TANCET in Tamil Nadu, WBUT-PGET in West Bengal, etc.
Further, some private universities conduct their own entrance examination like SRMJEEE for SRM University, VITMEE for VIT University, KIITEE for KIIT University, etc. You can appear for these entrance examinations as well.
I hope this answers your question. If you have any further questions, kindly revert.
