No, candidates cannot download the GATE result scorecard after December 31, 2025. The scorecard of GATE which determines the qualifying status of the aspirants can download the scorecard on the following scheduled dates as stated by the officials -
- From March 28 to May 31, students can download the GATE scorecard for free.
- From June 1 to December 31, 2025, students have to pay a fee of INR 500 to download the GATE scorecard.

While preparing the GATE 2025 rank list for (regular category) admission to M.Tech programmes, if two or more candidates scored the same GATE score, then the following rules will be followed to determine inter-se-merit -
- Firstly, based on the aggregate/total percentage of marks obtained in Class 12, the candidate having higher percentage of marks to be ranked higher.
- If the aggregate/total percentage of marks obtained in Class 12 does not break the tie, then based on the aggregate/total percentage of marks obtained in Class 10, the candidates having higher percentage of marks will be ranked higher.

Yes, admission to an M.Tech course SMIT Sikkim, Manipal University is accepted without a GATE score. However, it depends upon the chosen specialisation. GATE score is mandatory for the M.Tech Computer Science specialsiation. However, admission to Communication and Signal Process, the institute also accepts the score of the Entrance Examination conducted by Manipal University, Manipal. For admissions to M.Tech in Power Electronics and IT, the institute grants admission based on merit. Candidates must complete their BTech degree in related branches and must have secured an aggregate of 50% (for Power Electronics and 50% for (IT).

The GATE 2025 seat matrix is not released yet. The details will be announced at the time of GATE counselling. However, last year (in GATE 2024), there were a total of 12,000 seats available for M.Tech admissions.

The TS PGECET exam is considered to be easier than GATE exam. The GATE, otherwise known as Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, is more concept-based and is competitive in nature. On the other hand, the TS PGECET is a state-level exam is the competition is low.
