IIAEIT Pune is a private college which was established in 2001. Indian Institute of Aeronautical Engineering & Information Technology gives some programmes in collaboration with the Ajeenkya DY Patil University's Dept. of Space Engineering and AERO (Aeronautical Engineering and Research Organisation).

Yes, a candidate can apply for M.Tech at Indian Institute for Aeronautical Engineering and Information Technology (IIAEIT) with a valid score in GATE. The institute accepts GATE scores for M.Tech admission. Except GATE, IIAEIT also accepts SPACE PGECET scores or any other relevant exams for PG for engineering. Candidates must submit the marksheets for the same.

BTech is offered in three different specialisations at Indian Institute for Aeronautical Engineering and Information Technology. These are Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Avionics Engineering. All these are offered in full-time mode. As the course progresses, students study core aerospace subjects such as Aerodynamics, Propulsion Systems, Aircraft Structures, and Flight Mechanics. Modules on Avionics, Control Systems, and Computational Fluid Dynamics are also included.
