Tuition at GISMA are largely refundable in case of a German student visa rejection. However, an administrative fee worth EUR 250 (INR 27.5 K) applies for all refund requests.

Students can expect to receive a refund within 45 working days. To apply for a refund, visit GISMA online refunds portal.

Yes, Indian (international) students can pay their fees in instalments at GISMA Applied Sciences. Students can spread up the payment of their tuition costs in up to 10 equal monthly installments.

Note that for most Indian students, installment plans are usually only available from the second year onwards. Fees at GISMA can be paid via TransferMate or Flywire.

Yes, all programs at GISMA Uni of Applied Sciences are taught entirely in English. You can complete your entire PG, UG, or foundation degree without the need to learn German. 

However, according to GISMA student reviews on Shiksha Study Abroad, learning German is important to improve chances of getting internships/part-time jobs.

Students applying for PG programs at GISMA Germany for the Summer 2027 intake or later do need to take the dMAT test on Sep 26, 2026, if they have completed their UG degree in any of the following fields:

  • Engineering
  • Commerce
  • Finance
  • Accounting
  • Economics
  • Business
  • Management

The APS certificate will be considered invalid without the same.
