Although it is most ideal to appear in GPAT so as to gain entry into M.Pharm through Jamia Hamdard, you always have a choice. There are a few seats in Jamia Hamdard which remain open to non-GPAT students and the selected candidates are made on the basis of merit (B.Pharm marks) and some entrance test made by the college itself. More details may slightly differ and may vary depending on the M.Pharm programme that you apply to, so it is always better to consult the official Jamia Hamdard site by visiting the admission prospectus. No, GPAT scores are not compulsory to get admission into the MPharm course at Poona College of Pharmacy. Because the college also accepts relevant BV-PHARMPG scores. Therefore, candidates with scores in any of the entrance exams from these two can get admission into the MPharm course. Thus, GPAT is one of the accepted entrance exams for admission to the MPharm course. However, it is not compulsory.

Candidates in the pre-final year (3rd Year) of Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm), with results for the final year (4th Year) to be declared before the start of admission to M. Pharm courses for the academic year 2025-26, are eligible to appear for GPAT 2025.
