The eligibility criteria for the MDes course at UID Ahmedabad is that the candidate should have passed graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Moreover, the duration of the course is for four years. The entrance exam accepted includes the UID Design Aptitude Test.

The eligibility criteria for the BDes course at UID Ahmedabad is that the candidate should have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% (Any Stream) or 3 Years Diploma (Equivalent to Class 12 from any recognised higher secondary board. Moreover, the duration of the course is for four years.
