Hello,
There is no any criteria for admission on the basis of your 12th board. Admission Process at Institute Of Technology, Nirma University for B.Tech. Degree is divided into three categories-
1) Gujarat State Quota (50%)
2) All India Quota (35%)
3) NRI/NRI sponsored Quota (15%)
Thus, if anyone applies for All India seats college prepares a rank list based on AIR (All India Rank) and respective ranks are allotted to each applying candidate. Entire admission process will be carried out considering this rank. And that is ITNU rank.

Yes; after completing your 10th with minimum 45%, you can do Diploma in any field. And after completing your Diploma, you can do any degree course in any college.
