The skills acquired in M.Sc in food technology may not be very useful in performing the duties as a food inspector. Nutrition, food testing and antidotes for food contamination are required. You can become a food inspector through state level exams, even after your Bachelors degree. In India, subject specialisation as an eligibility is not implemented yet.
