Yes, candidates who have completed an MA in Hindi are eligible to apply for UGC NET irrespective of the discipline in which they have completed their Bachelor’s degree. They must have secured at least 55% in MA Hindi and should have completed the course from a recognised institute. Those applying for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) must be below the age of 30 whereas there is no age restriction for the post of Assistant Professor.
