Hotel Management is only specific to the Hotels, whereas in Hospitality industry you cater to all the industries that involve customer service.

Some of the common industries are:

  1. Cruises.
  2. Airlines.
  3. Travel Companies.
  4. Hospitals, etc.

So, if you work for the Hospitality Industry then you can work for any of these industries including hotels. The job profiles includes:

  1. Travel Agent.
  2. Ticket Reservations.
  3. Air Hostess.
  4. Housekeeping.
  5. Chef.
  6. Front Office.
  7. Cruise Attendant, etc.

The basis difference is that Graduate Diploma courses are of 1 year while the Graduate Certificate courses are for 0.5 years. You may opt one as per your convenience and planning.

MBA in hospitality is a very good choice it will not only give you good knowledge of Hotel Management but also of how you should mange people in your team also develop your skills in management. This is a great combination.

Fees of the program differs from institution to institution. The govt institution will have some lesser fee structure while the private ones will have high fee.
