Aviation, hospitality and travel industries are in for exponential growth. The aviation industry is expected to grow at a compounded annual growth rate of over 25%. India needs 400 airports and 300 aircraft in the next decade. Also, the hospitality industry is one of the fastest growing sectors in the country. According to the tourism ministry, hotels in India will have a shortfall of 150,000 rooms. This sector is expected to be the second largest employer in the world by 2019. Hi Binal,
I think you should pursue Hospitality, Travel & Tourism management, as the course provide an in-depth and over all knowledge about the industry which will help you later as an air hostess. As the hospitality industry is a wide field to know and understand, as an air hostess also you at least need to know about the industry. You can pursue it from UTM, which is the campus of MIT Pune in Shillong. This university is known for its management courses and one my cousin also graduated from UTM and now she is enjoying her life on seventh clod and travelling all over. As per my knowledge they provide good placements as well reason being their association with big brands as the recruiters for campus placements.
