Yes, you can, of course. You can get in touch with the Indira Gandhi Open University for this purpose or consult their web site for the actual time for admission. They are, I believe, among the best in this field. However, you will have to obtain at least 55 per cent in the final examination and clear, thereafter, National Eligibility test to qualify for an Assistant Professor's position in any College.

It depends upon what you want to do in your life, what career you want to pursue and what role the degree is going to play in your career decision. If you want to do teaching or have interest in civil service examination, then you can do MA. But, if you want to change your industry & want to work in corporate and have interest in management, then you should definitely pursue MA.

No, you can't. Candidates who have Masters degree or are in the qualifying year of the post-graduation can apply for the UGC NET exam. You will get the complete information related to NTA UGC NET from - https://examsroot.wordpress.com/2018/09/11/nta-ugc-net-2018-know-all-about-the-exam/ must check. You have to score minimum 55% aggregate (for general) marks in Masters. Reserved category students get the 5% relaxation in aggregate marks. There is age criteria to apply for Assistant Professor.
