IELTS is one of the important English requirements that Ulster University asks for. However, it also accepts Various other English requirements, such as PTE, TOEFL and Cambridge. However, below are the English requirements the University asks for:

English Proficiency Test 

Minimum scores 

IELTS

A Minimum score of 6 to 7 

PTE

A minimum score of 51 to 66 

Cambridge

A minimum of 169 to185 

TOEFL 

A minimum of 80 to 100 

( Note: The above minimum scores depend on the courses the individual takes as they are subject to change. However, on the official website, the university has compared it with all the other English tests with IELTS. Interested applicants are also requested to check with the official application portal to avoid confusion)

The University of Denver requires an English language proficiency score from all the overseas candidates during the time of application. However, students are generally exempted from the English proficiency test requirement if they have any of the following:

  • Secondary/high school Diploma from a school where the language of instruction is English; OR
  • A baccalaureate degree or higher from a formally-recognized/accredited university where the institution's sole language of instruction and examination is English; OR

Yes, Brown University accepts IELTS and TOEFL as the ELP and applicants must have a score above 7 in IELTS. If the applicant doesn’t then she or he has to take the English programs provided by the university.
