Yes, IGNOU offers Bachelor of Arts (BA) course of three-year duration. Admission to the UG-level course is subject to fulfiment of the eligibility requirements. Apart from this, the open university also offers four-year BA (Hons) programmes across different specialisations. Indira Gandhi National Open University offers BCom course of four-year duration. The UG-level programme is available in English and Hindi medium. Candidates can opt for the preferred language to pursue the programme. The study material is provided to the student in the opted language. Also, the exam is then conducted in the same medium.

A degree from Indira Gandhi National Open University is valid and widely accepted. This central university was established under the Act of parliament in 1985.
