To apply for the BTech programme at IIIT Kota, candidates must use JEE Main as the application platform. The application process for JEE Main 2024 comprises three stages, which include registration, form filling & document uploading, and payment of the application fee. JEE Main exam dates for BTech programme for admission to IIIT Kota is scheduled on Jan 24, which is tentative. As per the exam pattern of JEE Mains, the exam is conducted online as a Computer Based Test. JEE Main 2024 will have three papers, Paper 1 for admission to BE/BTech course, Paper 2A for BArch admission and Paper 2B for BPlan course admission. The duration of the JEE Main exam is three hours and has Multiple Choice (MCQ) and Integer Value (Numerical Value Answer) type questions. JEE Main 2024 Paper 1 will have a total of 90 questions while Paper 2A and 2B have 82 and 105 questions respectively.

Yes, JEE Main 2024 dates for admission to IIIT Kota BTech programme are out now but the dates are tentative. It is expected that JEE Main 2024 notification will be released in the first week of December. NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions in January and April. The exact date of the exam for both sessions will be announced in the notification. The selection to IIIT Kota’s BTech programme is based on the candidate’s JEE Main exam score followed by the centralised counselling process regulated by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) through which they are allotted a seat. The seat allotment also depends on the college cutoff and a candidate’s preference for that course and college. JoSAA registrations usually begin from the third week of June in online mode. However, the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) manages the counselling process for the remaining vacant seats.

Candidates willing to apply for BTech at IIIT Kota are required to apply for JEE Main exam first. The procedure of application for JEE Main is inclusive of three major steps, i.e Registration, Form Filling & Document Upload followed by payment of application fees.
- Visit the official website of JEE Main, i.e., jeemain.nta.nic.in and click on the 'Registration for JEE (Main)' link.
- Fill out the registration form with the required information followed by clicking on the submit button.

The total fee for IIIT Kota BTech programme is INR 7.2 lakh. Total fee is calculated based on annual/ semester fee available for the academic year 2023-24, hence is indicative. For SC/ST/PwD students a fee waiver of 20% is granted, also students cab apply to State/Central government Scholarships.
