Getting into IIM Ahmedabad's MBA (PGP) is a multi-step process:
- CAT scores: Candidates need to score exceptionally high (90+ percentile) on the Common Admission Test (CAT). This is the key hurdle.
- Meet Eligibility Criteria: Candidates need to have a Bachelor's degree with good marks and, for most candidates, 3+ years work experience.

The ESCP MBA is currently ranked 26th all over the world by the 2024 QS Global MBA Ranking and 25th worldwide by the 2024 MBA Financial Times Ranking. This ranking is less than that of IIM Ahmedabad, thus it can be said that ESCP MBA programme is a better option than IIM Ahmedabad. ESCP Europe is less expensive and has a good QS ranking. No, Cyprus Business School is not necessarily a better option than IIM Ahmedabad, India for doing MBA. WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management has a world rank 150 in QS Ranking but IIM Ahmedabad has a QS ranking around 50. So, it can be said that academically and infrastructure wise IIM Ahmedabad is better. IIM Ahmedabad has a very good in providing scholarships and its practice and policy. It has a notable features like academic blocks, faculty offices, library, dormitories, etc. But you will get a good multicultural environment with students from all over the world in WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management.
