You can apply for IIM Bangalore's various programs at different times of the year:
MBA (PGP) and MBA-BA
- Application window opens with the start of CAT 2023 registration process from August 2, 2023.
- Last date to apply is the same as the last date for CAT 2023 registration, which is September 21, 2023 (5 PM).
- CAT 2023 exam will be held on November 26, 2023.
- CAT 2023 result will be declared on January 4-5, 2024.
- IIMB shortlist announcement for PI-WAT will be on January 20, 2024.
- PI-WAT final selection round will start in the last week of January 2024 and continue till March 2024.
- Final admission offers will be made in the second week of Apri

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% or an equivalent CGPA (45% for those in the SC, ST, or PwD categories) in order to be selected for IIM Bangalore. Admission to IIM Bangalore in 2024 is exclusively through entrance. A valid CAT exam score is required for admission to the flagship programme at IIM Bangalore, the MBA. This is followed by rounds of written ability tests and personal interviews.
